Core Technical Requirements
Successful candidates must demonstrate deep expertise across the following areas:
- System Development: 8-10 years of experience, preferably within the server, computer, or network industry.
- High-Speed Interfaces: Extensive knowledge of Ethernet and high-speed SERDES (>25G) interfaces, including sophisticated high-speed design and signal integrity principles.
- Architecture: Strong grasp of X86 architecture and control interfaces such as PCIe, MDIO, SPI, and I2C.
- Memory Design: Direct experience designing with modern memory devices, including DDR5 and SSD.
- Tools: Hands-on proficiency in board design tools, specifically Cadence Concept and Allegro.
- Lifecycle Expertise: Proven experience in hardware bring-up, design validation, and troubleshooting field issues/Failure Analysis (FA) for shipping products.
Your Key Deliverables
You will manage critical phases of the hardware lifecycle:
- Design & Capture: Schematics capture using Cadence/Allegro.
- Bring-Up: Hardware collaboration with ASIC, FPGA, and Software teams.
- Sustaining: Debugging, system log analysis, and cross-functional support for product qualification and sustaining efforts.
